Forest Therapy

Forest therapy (sometimes known as forest bathing or shinrin-yoku) broadly means taking in, with all of one’s senses, the forest atmosphere.  Not simply a walk in the woods, it is the conscious and contemplative practice of being immersed in the sights, sounds and smells of the forest.
Join Aimee Vandemark as she guides you through an experiential practice of deepening your relationship with the nature around you at ClearWind Farm.

About Aimee… After many years of experiencing the beauty and healing power of nature, Aimee realized that being in nature wasn’t just for fun, it was essential to her whole being. Since that realization, Aimee has sought out readings, experiences, and education that reinforced the fundamental relationship between humans and the natural world.  Aimee is a certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy and is passionate about providing opportunities for people to remember that we are not separate from nature, we are nature. Aimee’s practice is informed by her background as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a mother of two nature-loving children, and growing up a “farm kid”.
